Vice President - Financial Regulatory Compliance at Cobank Acb

Jim Shanahan, CFA has extensive experience in the financial industry. Jim began their career at U.S. AgBank in 2008 as an Assistant Vice President, where they assisted in the evaluation of loan portfolio purchases and coordinated trading activities. In 2012, they joined CoBank as Director of the Treasury Department, where they managed capital management, liquidity investments, and debt issuance. In 2015, they took on the role of Vice President of Financial Regulatory Compliance at CoBank, where they provided guidance on compliance with regulatory requirements and served on the bank's Market Risk Committee.

Jim Shanahan, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business from Wichita State University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Colorado State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Jim also completed their high school education at Broomfield High School. In addition to their formal education, they are a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
