Tom Binet currently serves as the Lead Credit Officer for Project Finance at CoBank, a position held since March 2019, following roles as Senior Credit Officer and Credit Officer in the same department. Prior to CoBank, Tom worked at PA Consulting Group from November 2014 to December 2018 as a Consultant in the Global Energy and Utilities Practice, focusing on asset valuation and strategic planning. Tom's earlier experience includes various positions at the Colorado Energy Office from January 2008 to August 2014, culminating as Business Development Manager in the Energy Sector. Tom holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in International Relations with a concentration in Chinese Language and Culture from the University of Colorado Boulder, in addition to completing the Executive Energy Leadership Academy at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
