Mark Reida

Mark Reida is an experienced professional with a strong background in utility management and process engineering. Currently serving as the Utility Permitting Manager at Cobb County Government since February 2008, Mark oversees right-of-way maintenance for bridge and concrete structures, managing contractor compliance with project standards. Mark previously held the role of Facilities Supervisor, where responsibilities included managing operations for the Public Safety Agency's facilities and assisting in budget development for Fire Services. Prior to Cobb County Government, Mark worked at Shaw Industries from January 2001 to February 2008 as a Senior Process Engineer, focusing on process improvement, machine management, and capital project oversight. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Sciences and Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University.
