Caprice Banks

Caprice Banks is a seasoned educator and solutions consultant with extensive experience in writing instruction and educational leadership. Currently serving as a Writing Specialist and Teacher of English at Cobb County School District since 2017, Caprice has also held the position of Lead Solutions Consultant at FreshbanterInk since January 2019. Previous roles include Writing Specialist and Teacher of English at Chicago Public Schools from 2011 to 2016, Resident Teacher of English at AUSL, and Post Secondary Coach at Chicago Public Schools. Caprice's career in education began with a role as CRCP Site Director at UPS. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Black Literature from Chicago State University, a Master of Education in Educational Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
