Daniel Knode

Daniel Knode is an experienced audio and video broadcasting professional currently serving as an Audio Video Broadcast Instructor for Cobb County School District since August 2017, where instruction focuses on preparing high school students for careers in the broadcasting industry through hands-on experience in a live studio environment. Prior to this role, Knode worked as a Studio Technician at WGCL/CBS46 Meredith Broadcasting and held various supervisory positions at CNN over nearly two decades, including Studio Operations Supervisor and International News Production Supervisor, managing large teams and coordinating production logistics for multiple networks. Knode's earlier experience includes directing newscasts at KCCI TV-8 and graphic operations at WOI TV5, along with a role as a videographer and editor for the Iowa State Football team. Knode holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunicative Arts from Iowa State University.
