John Floresta

John Floresta serves as the Chief Strategy & Accountability Officer and Chief Technology Officer for Cobb County School District since April 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director of Strategy & Innovation at Marietta City Schools and Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff and Deputy Superintendent at Cobb County School District. John has also held positions such as Online Learning Supervisor at Fulton County Schools, Teacher at various schools within Cobb County School District, and Supplemental Instructor at Georgia State University. In addition to extensive educational leadership experience, John has operated as CEO and Principal for a range of small businesses in the Atlanta area since July 2008. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) (ABD) in E-Learning Design and Instruction from Northcentral University, a Master's of Education from Western Governors University, and a Bachelor's of Science in Social Sciences focusing on Economics from Liberty University.
