Liz Mathison

Liz Mathison has extensive experience in education and the legal field. Currently serving as an English Language Arts Teacher and a Supply Teacher at Cobb County School District since August 2011, Liz has also held volunteer leadership roles at Pope Globalization Academy Foundation, including Co-President from August 2018 to June 2019 and Vice President of Strategic Planning from August 2014 to June 2018. Prior to her teaching career, Liz worked as a Litigation Paralegal at Irvin Stanford and Kessler from 1996 to 1999 and at Evert and Weathersby from 1994 to 1996, as well as a Legal Assistant at OGLETREE DEAKINS NASH SMOAK & STEWART P.C. from 1993 to 1994. Liz holds a degree from The University of Georgia, obtained between 1989 and 1993.
