Roseann Gapusan, MAT, currently serves as the ESOL Department Chair and Science Teacher for K-12 at Cobb County School District since January 2018, where notable achievements include being recognized as the 2023 Cobb County School District ESOL Teacher of the Year and the 2023 Pebblebrook High School ESOL Teacher of the Year. Prior to this role, Roseann worked as a Jewelry Merchandiser for Old Navy from November 2013 to April 2017, and served as Principal of Eco Opulence, LLC, a designer and wholesaler of pearls and pearl jewelry, from April 2007 to April 2017. Earlier experience includes teaching grammar and conversational American English in Japan from 1998 to 2001 and serving as Chairman of Fundraising for the American Red Cross at US facilities in Spain from 1994 to 1998. Roseann holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the College of Charleston and two Master’s degrees from Kennesaw State University, one in Secondary Education and Teaching and the other in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction.
