Nikki Glanton has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Nikki began their career in the US Army, where they held various managerial roles in communications operations and plans, international affairs, public affairs, and DEI. Nikki also served as a Strategic & Corporate Communications Fellow at AMB Sports + Entertainment. In this role, they gained experience in strategic and corporate communications, as well as military relations. After their military career, Nikki worked as a Consultant, Project Management & Public Relations at The Collaborative Firm, LLC, where they worked on an economic development conference in Metropolitan Atlanta. Currently, Nikki is the Director of Communications & Public Information at Cobb County Sheriff's Office, where they oversee media, marketing, public relations, and creative design functions, as well as advising senior executive leadership and supporting the Chief of Staff. Throughout their career, Nikki has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, communication strategies, operations management, and team leadership.

Nikki Glanton's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations/ Marketing from The University of Arizona Global Campus, which was obtained from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, Nikki also obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies from Vincennes University. The additional certifications Nikki has acquired include "Pitching Your Ideas Strategically" from LinkedIn in April 2020, "Demonstrated Senior Logistician" from SOLE-The International Society of Logistics in June 2015, "Master Resiliency Course" from US Army TRADOC in January 2014, "Equal Opportunity Leader Course" from the US Army in March 2005, and "Certified Hazard Control Manager (CHCM)" from the US Army in January 2003. Additionally, Nikki completed the Master Leader Course (Executive-level) from The NCO Leadership Center of Excellence and Sergeants Major Academy in 2021 and the Senior Leader Course (Senior-Level) from the same institution in 2013. Before that, Nikki completed the Advance Leader Course (Mid-level) in 2006 and the Basic Leader Course (Base-level) in 2004.
