Philip Kaefer is an experienced architect with a strong background in designing robust buildings that inspire and support users. Currently serving as an Architect at Cobe since September 2024, Kaefer previously held the position of Senior Architect at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, where the focus was on facade design and the integration of innovative construction methods in various complex projects, including laboratories and cultural spaces. Kaefer is an Associate member of the AIA and holds LEED BD+C accreditation, having also contributed as Regional Resilience Leader at Gensler and Design Director at Project FROG. The career trajectory includes foundational roles at esteemed firms such as SOM and Operation Architecture, complemented by a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University and additional education at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
