Alberto Ortiz

Alberto Ortiz has held several positions in the finance and banking industry since 2014. Alberto began their career as a Finance Research Analyst at IESE Business School, assisting Professor P. Fernandez. In 2016, they joined Banco Santander as an Associate for Banco Popular and as a member of the Strategy and CEO office. In 2019, they were appointed Head of Product and Head of Accounts & Cards at Fintonic, where they were responsible for leading a team of 19 people in Spain and Mexico, managing the P&L, product roadmap, legal issues, and business development. In 2021, they were appointed Managing Director - Iberia at Binance, where they were in charge of the landing of the world’s largest crypto company in Spain and Portugal. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed VP of Product at Cobee.

Alberto Ortiz has a diverse education history. From 2019 to 2020, they completed a Master in Digital Business (MDB+15) at The Valley Digital Business School. Between 2012 and 2013, they attended Dublin City University for an Erasmus: International Business and Management program. Alberto also completed a Double Bachelor's degree in Business and Law at Universidad de Sevilla between 2008 and 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including How to Create Products Customers Love from the Silicon Valley Product Group in June 2021, a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge in September 2013, and a Scrum Product Owner Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in April 2019.
