Thomas Casale

Tom serves as senior vice president and general manager of CAES’ Signal Products Division, where he is responsible for the profit and loss of this business engaged in the design and manufacture of signal interconnection technologies. He is tasked with driving operational leadership, customer engagement, and profitable growth for division comprised of approximately 500 employees located at sites in Exeter, NH, Eatontown, NJ and Huntington Beach, CA. For 35 years, Tom has served the defense industry with proven skills in executive leadership, operations and engineering management, strategic planning, RF/Microwave engineering and program management.

Prior to joining CAES, Tom was the President of L3 Technologies’ ESSCO division where he led this $50M radome company engaged in the design and production of RF transparent protective enclosures for mission-critical radar tracking, telemetry, and radio astronomy applications. Here he was recognized for effective team building by setting aggressive goals and providing solid leadership and direction to attain them. Earlier in his career, Tom held increasingly responsible roles in Engineering, Operations, and General Management for Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Signal Technology Corporation, and Varian Associates. Prior to this he served as Design Engineer as an individual contributor. For some of this work he received two U.S. patents for technology related to signal generation and power management for cellular telephony.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Tufts University and Master of Science degree in management from Lesley University.
