Andrew Vassallo is a seasoned Senior Principal Engineer at Cobham Mission Systems and has been with Carleton Technologies, Inc. since June 2008. Vassallo has extensive experience in generating proposals, conceptual design recommendations, and product development for high-profile clients such as NASA and Boeing. Key achievements include serving as lead project engineer for valves and regulators in the Orion space vehicle's pressure control system, obtaining a patent for a sub-atmospheric process gas regulator, and creating high-pressure components for space and defense applications. Vassallo's earlier roles include design engineer positions at Avox Systems, Inc., PCB Piezotronics, Inc., and Ultra-Scan Corporation, where significant contributions to life support systems, sensor connectors, and fingerprint scanners were made. Vassallo holds a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and a secondary science teaching certification in physics.
