James Moore

James Moore has extensive experience in the legal field. James started their career as an Associate at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich from 2001 to 2004. James then moved to Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP, where they served as an Associate from 2004 to 2008, working on patent, labor and employment, and general commercial litigation matters. Notable achievements during this time include successfully running a pro bono effort in a predatory lending case that resulted in a favorable settlement for the client.

In 2008, James joined O'Melveny & Myers LLP, where they held multiple roles. James initially served as Counsel from 2008 to 2010, focusing on intellectual property, antitrust, and other commercial litigation matters. James'sresponsibilities included conducting depositions, drafting trial documents, and coordinating discovery. James then transitioned to the role of Director of Career Development from 2010 to 2021. In this position, they provided personal guidance and coaching to associates and counsel, assisting them in achieving their career goals. James also managed various Talent Development programs, such as alumni relations, recruitment, training, mentoring, and diversity initiatives.

Currently, James Moore holds the position of Director of Legal Talent at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass LLP, starting in 2021.

James Moore obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island, which they attended from 1984 to 1988. Later, they pursued their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at The George Washington University Law School from 1998 to 2001.
