Giandomenico Cicala

Giandomenico Cicala is an experienced R&D Project Manager at COBO Group since September 2015, where responsibilities include being the Technical Manager for Steering Column and Multifunction Armrest Product Lines, as well as Electromechanical Designer. Prior experience includes an internship in Mechatronics Engineering at DISMI in collaboration with CNH INDUSTRIAL ITALIA SpA, involving the reverse engineering of a viscoelastic joint. Additional roles include Mechanical Designer for off-road vehicle components at 4Mall and Mechanical Engineering intern at DIMEG, focusing on CAE systems. Early career experience as an apprentice metalworker at O.M.C. complements Giandomenico's educational background, which includes a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università della Calabria, and a technical diploma from ITI "Ettore Majorana."
