Rachel Scott

Rachel Scott is an experienced leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as President & CEO of Coburn Place Safe Haven since August 2021. Prior to this role, Scott held various positions including Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President at Indiana United Ways from November 2016 to August 2021. As the Owner Principal of Forward Growth Strategies, LLC from January 2010 to November 2016, Scott specialized in consulting on collective impact and collaborative action for nonprofits and government entities. Experience also includes serving as Division Administrator at the Iowa College Student Aid Commission, where initiatives aimed at increasing college attainment among low-income and minority students were launched. Scott's career encompasses roles in various organizations focused on public policy, legislative liaison work, and educational instruction. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Drake University and a Master of Arts in English from Truman State University.
