Bastian Galasso

Bastian Galasso, PhD, is an experienced data science professional and educator currently serving as a part-time lecturer at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, focusing on Machine Learning courses in the Master's program in Data Science. In addition, Bastian is a co-founder of BlackBox Analytics and holds the position of Data Analytics Lead and Senior Data Scientist at Coca-Cola Embonor. Prior roles include serving as a Data Scientist at Banco Bci, a Senior Consultant at EY, and a Technical Leader in Data Science at Metric Arts. Bastian has extensive teaching experience, having lectured at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in various mathematics courses and in Data Science applications, as well as teaching mathematics in a pre-university setting. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, alongside a Master's degree and a Licentiate degree in Mathematics from the same institution, and an internship at The University of Edinburgh.
