Galya Tsonkova

Galya Tsonkova is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability governance and environmental management, currently serving as the Head of Sustainability Governance, Reporting, and Nature Programs Manager at Coca-Cola HBC. Since joining in June 2010, Galya has led numerous sustainability initiatives across 29 countries, including the development of carbon removal strategies, biodiversity programs, and water stewardship efforts. Galya's expertise extends to corporate sustainability strategy, ESG target setting, and comprehensive reporting processes. Prior to Coca-Cola, Galya held various roles at Nestlé, focusing on industrial performance and new product development, and has continued to enhance professional skills through executive education at prestigious institutions. Galya is also a member of the Global Sustainability Standards Board of the Global Reporting Initiative.
