Leon Barkhuizen

Leon Barkhuizen serves as the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa since February 2019. With an extensive career at Coca-Cola Sabco (Pty) Ltd since May 2004 as a Finance Executive, responsibilities include overseeing the total finance function, setting financial strategy, providing commercial guidance, ensuring governance, directing procurement strategies, and engaging with shareholders and stakeholders. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Finance Manager and Finance Manager at Coca-Cola Fortune (Pty) Ltd from February 1996 to April 2004. Leon holds a BCom in Accounting and Finance from the University of Port Elizabeth and an additional BCom Honours/CTA in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Africa. Leon is recognized as a self-starter focused on results and dedicated to empowering teams.
