Amir Shmaltz

Amir Shmaltz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in process and production engineering across multiple industries. Currently serving as Principal Process Engineer at Cochlear since August 2019, Amir has previously held significant roles including Engineering Manager at Pfizer and CollPlant, and Production and Process Development Manager at Mileutis Ltd. Prior experience includes various engineering management positions at Johnson & Johnson, where responsibilities ranged from team leadership to validation engineering. Amir's career began as a Production Engineer at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Amir holds a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
