Jim Thomas (Hector)

Jim (Hector) Thomas has extensive experience in the construction materials industry, currently serving as Material Sales for the Eastern Region at Coco Paving since June 2015, primarily focusing on asphalt sales and aggregate assistance. Previously, Jim held the position of Aggregate & Asphalt Sales Estimator at Cruickshank Construction from October 2006 to June 2015, where responsibilities included aggregate sales and developing a new customer base. Earlier experience also includes a managerial role at Sweets Sand & Gravel from May 1991 to October 2006, overseeing manufactured aggregates for heavy civil projects, and serving as Operations Supervisor at Gerald Best Excavating Ltd. from January 1984 to January 1991, managing jobs from bidding through to completion. Jim's educational background includes a Civil Engineering degree from George Brown College and a Grade 13 diploma from Gananoque Secondary.
