Cristian Sandescu

Cristian Sandescu has been working in the IT industry since 2002. Cristian began their career as Junior IT at Cabinetul Calin Tatomir. In 2005, they took on the role of Instructor at AcademiaCisco/CATC. From 2006-2007, they were a Managing Partner and Senior Consultant - Systems & Security, Audit at CCT Consultants. During this time, they also held the role of Business Development Manager at CATC Romania and Executive Manager at Ronetacad. In 2015, they founded Global Resolution Experts (GRX) and in 2020 they founded CODA Intelligence, where they currently serve as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

Cristian Sandescu has a background in computer and information systems security. Cristian'seducational history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, System Architecture from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, obtained in 2009. Cristian then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Information Security from Universitatea “Politehnica” din București in 2011. In 2016, they began pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, which they are currently completing. In 2007, they also attended Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. In addition to their educational history, Cristian Sandescu has obtained various certifications, including the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) in 2015, the Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) in 2014, the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) in 2011, the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) in 2011, the Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP-S) in 2011, the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in 2010, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2010, the Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) in 2008, and the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in 2008.
