Maya’s professional experience spans work as a Relocation Consultant, an Executive Assistant for a Japanese listed company, and as an HR Manager for Mercari. At Mercari, she laid the groundwork for leadership development, led D&I initiatives, updated the evaluation system, and worked to improve employee engagement across the organization. To re-engineer herself, she joined Code Chrysalis as Head of Enterprise. Maya’s focus to re-engineer Japan’s work culture and help companies have happier and more efficient employees drives each professional decision she makes. She is inspired to make Japan a software leader one employee at a time. Originally for Hokkaido, Maya grew up in both Japan and the US.
