Lauren Murakami

Lauren Murakami is a seasoned designer with a robust background in marketing and communications. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at Code for America since May 2019, Lauren previously held roles as a Marketing and Communications Designer. As a freelance graphic designer since August 2016, Lauren has developed concept designs, logos, portfolios, presentations, and various digital and print materials for a diverse client base across industries such as education, real estate, health & wellness, tech, and interior design. Prior experience includes a graphic designer position at BFLOW Solutions, Inc., where Lauren contributed to DME Management Software, and internships at the Oakland Digital Arts & Literacy Center and G Labs LA. Lauren holds a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design with minors in Marketing Management and Art History from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
