Rocio Rodarte

Program Manager at Code for America

Rocio Rodarte (she/her) wants to help change the narrative on what is possible when policy and program design and implementation put people first and lead with equity. She has spent the last decade working in policy, research, and strategic stakeholder engagement across government, nonprofit, and financial technology sectors. In her most recent role as Policy and Communications Manager at Mission Asset Fund (MAF), Rocio worked at the intersection of MAF’s research and programmatic initiatives to evaluate the impact of MAF’s credit-building and cash assistance programs, leveraging these insights to advance policies that support more inclusive economies. Prior to MAF, Rocio was a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO), serving as a policy advisor on immigration, labor, and civil rights policies. Rocio holds an MPA from Princeton University and a BA in International Relations from Brown University. An East LA native, she now resides in San Diego (having recently moved back after 13+ years on the east coast). Outside of work, you can find Rocio planning her next trip, camping anywhere that will allow it, listening to a podcast about politics or true crime, or playing with her cat Arya.
