Taliha Baqai is an ambitious high school student actively engaged in diverse pursuits across research, performing arts, and technology. Currently serving as a Research Intern at the Child Mind Institute, Taliha reviews scientific literature on mental health and delivers presentations on generational trauma research. As a Self-Paced Computer Science Program Leader for Girls Who Code, Taliha develops essential tech skills and fosters community among participants. Taliha's experience includes roles as a Drama Program Student at The Chance Theater, Publicity Manager for the Troy Speech and Debate Team, and Company Outreacher for Golden Student Bears, where relationship building and community engagement are key focuses. Additionally, Taliha writes for The Fullerton Observer, promotes computer science awareness as a Computer Science Ambassador for Code.org, and is furthering education in psychology through the Brown University Pre-College Programs. Taliha's dedication to learning and impact spans collaborations in medical simulations and emergency situations through Summer Springboard. Currently pursuing a high school diploma at Troy High School, Taliha is on track to graduate in 2027.
