Navi Kaur has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2013, they served as the Golden Pacific Region Chair for the United States Student Association. navkiran “navi” then moved on to become a Student Assistant at the UCSB MultiCultural Center in 2013-2014. In 2014, Navi worked as a Research Fellow at the 1984 Living History Organization and later joined the Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast as a Leadership Specialist. navkiran “navi” began working at Code2040 in 2015 as a Program Assistant and continued in different roles within the organization, including Senior Program Manager starting from March 2022.

During their time at Code2040, Navi also worked as an Independent Contractor, first as a Program Manager and later as an Event Manager. In 2018, they started working at CultureStrike as an Independent Contractor, specializing as an Art Build Coordinator. Navi also held the role of Production Coordinator at CultureStrike for a brief period in 2019.

Additionally, Navi has experience in the field of birth and healing services. navkiran “navi” worked as a Doula at New Ray of Sunshine Birth & Healing Services from 2018 until present and served as the Director of Jail Support Services at Roots of Labor Birth Collective from 2019 to 2020. Overall, Navi Kaur has displayed versatility and adaptability through their diverse work experiences.

Navkiran "Navi" Kaur completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Black Studies at UC Santa Barbara from 2011 to 2015. In 2021, Navi enrolled in the Cecemmana Herbalism Program at Ancestral Apothecary. Prior to college, Navi attended Merrill F. West High School from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Navi has obtained several certifications. In September 2022, they completed the Abortion Doula Support Training at the Bay Area Doula Project. In December 2020, they received Mediation Certification and Basic Conflict Resolution Training from SEEDS. In November 2019, Navi completed Filmmaker's Training at the Queer Women of Color Media Arts Project - QWOCMAP. navkiran “navi” also obtained Pregnancy and Infant Loss Training from Nneka Hall in June 2018 and Full Spectrum Doula Training from Roots of Labor Birth Collective in March 2018.
