Kirby Reed serves as the Assistant Director of Development and Community Outreach at The Arc of Atlantic County since June 2022, following a role as Communications and Donor Relations Specialist at Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties from November 2018 to May 2022, where Kirby planned fundraising events and introduced innovative initiatives like the Blue Flamingo Flocking fundraiser during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, Kirby worked as Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society, overseeing special events and volunteer mobilization, and as a freelance journalist focusing on news and entertainment for The Cape May County Herald and other outlets. Early career experiences include contributions to Reuters and an internship with Fox Broadcasting Company, promoting established programs. Kirby holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Hofstra University, earned between 2004 and 2008.
