Rachel Salinas Beltz

Rachel is the Junior Development Associate at Code2040. Born in Texas to one bay area and one D.C. raised parent, she largely grew up in Minnesota and went on to study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Alongside Digital Studies, she studied Latin American, Caribbean & Iberian Studies to supplement the educational gaps she felt in her midwestern schooling and foster a deeper connection to her roots.

She was drawn to nonprofit work in college and worked for organizations serving students historically excluded from higher education. Rachel has since held diverse roles within the nonprofit sector from direct academic support to grant management. Excited by data, driven by equity, her passions converge in her role at Code2040.
