Matt Francis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matt began their career in 2000 as a Senior PHP/Web Developer at Dark Blue Sea. Matt then worked as a Senior PHP Developer at Utopian IT from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2007, Matt held the position of PHP Architect at Brisbane City Council. Matt then worked as a Contract Administrator at Franciswhite Constructions from 2007 to 2009. Matt founded ConstructMate in 2009 and served as its Founder until 2011. Matt subsequently worked as a PHP Developer at Game World Industries from 2011 to 2012.

In 2012, Matt joined WorkingMouse as a Chief Technology Officer and held this position until 2020. Matt then briefly served as the Chief Executive Officer at WorkingMouse from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, they returned to the role of Chief Technology Officer at WorkingMouse. Additionally, Matt co-founded Codebots in 2017 and Rogue Two in 2018, where they continue to serve as a Co-Founder.
