Bill Wang

Bill Wang is the current General Manager of CodeCombat Greater China. Bill is also the Head of Asia for CodeCombat, a position they have held for the last 3 years and 9 months. In this role, Bill is responsible for making computer science education accessible and enjoyable to every Chinese young student. Bill has also been instrumental in expanding product and services to 100+ partners and 500+ schools, and increasing users from 0.87 million to 4.5 million. Prior to their work with CodeCombat, Bill served as the Vice President and Head of Business Development for CreditEase. In this role, they were responsible for leading corporate development and strategic investment on high potential start-ups and projects in the FinTech eco-system globally. Bill was also responsible for leading strategic partnership with leading Internet companies (Baidu, Tencent, Alibaba, JD, Meida, Didi and etc) on joint products innovation, users acquisition, data optimization, technology inputs and outputs, risk management and anti-fraud. During their tenure with CreditEase, Bill closed investment deals on financial services sector, built strong networks with financial bureaus and sectors, and built C-level connections with leading Financial services and commercial equities in China and Hong Kong.

Bill Wang has a Mini-MBA from Yirendai and CEIBS, a Master's in Linguistics from Tsinghua University, and a degree in English and Computer Science from Beijing Normal University. Bill also has a verified certificate in Introduction to Computer Science and Programming from edX.
