Paul Barnes

Paul Barnes has over 10 years of experience in the software development industry. In 2017, they began working as a Delivery Manager at the Government Digital Service, where they were responsible for the delivery of a digital identity solution to enable an EU cross-border digital economy. Paul then worked as a Senior Delivery Lead at Equal Experts, where they helped the team deliver a startup capability within the organisation. In 2016, Paul worked as an Agile Project Manager at News UK, responsible for the technical delivery of a digital platform. In 2018, they worked as a Delivery Manager at Dunelm and Reed Exhibitions, and as a Technical Program Manager at Magic Milestones. In 2020, Paul became the Director at Cariboo Digital, and in 2022 they began working as a Delivery Lead at Valtech and a Low Code Software Development at Codemap.io. Throughout their career, Paul has focused on tight timescales with statutory go live dates, led multiple teams within a scrum environment, and worked with product managers, technical architects, designers, researchers, business analysts, quality assurance and engineers.
