Isaac Ault has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. In 2018, they worked as a Student Software Developer at BlackBerry QNX, where they resolved software issues and implemented bug fixes in C for the QNX Neutrino RTOS. Isaac also gained experience in kernel trace, debugging, and accessing hardware remotely. In 2019, Isaac worked as a Software Developer Co-op at Ribbon Communications, focusing on deploying virtual network functions and maintaining legacy features. Isaac was also involved in implementing Google's AddressSanitizer on OAM deployments. In 2020, they joined Romaeris Corporation as an Embedded Software Engineer, working on autonomous control of UAVs and maintaining communication with Ground Control Stations. Currently, Isaac works at Codeplay Software as a Software Engineer, where they specialize in runtime and machine learning libraries.

Isaac Ault attended Carleton University from the year 2016 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Mathematics with a combined honors degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. During their time at Carleton University, they focused on the concentration of Computing Theory and Numerical Methods. In addition to their formal education, Isaac obtained several certifications. In July 2020, they completed the "Development of Real-Time Systems" certification through Coursera. Similarly, in May 2020, they earned certifications in "Embedded Hardware and Operating Systems" and "Web Connectivity and Security in Embedded Systems," both from Coursera as well.
