Satish Shetty

Satish Shetty has worked in the technology industry for over 25 years. In 1995, they began their career as a Software Engineer at NashSoft Systems Pvt Ltd, where they developed NashScan, an antivirus software for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. In 1997, they moved to McAfee as a Software Engineer, where they designed and developed several products for McAfee/Network Associates. In 2004, they joined Microsoft Corporation as a Software Design Engineer, where they shipped Windows7 Antipiracy Update, Windows Activation Technology (WAT), and other updates. Satish also developed Windows XP Genuine Validation Mozilla plugin, Windows XP product key update tool, WgaTray component, and other components. In 2011, they founded and became CEO of Codeproof Technologies Inc, a company that helps enterprises and SMBs to increase corporate data security and business productivity. In 2022, they became an Official Member of Forbes Technology Council.

Satish Shetty has a diverse educational background. In 1989, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Mysore, which they completed in 1993. In 1994, they obtained a PGDAC from CDAC Bangalore in Advanced Computing. In 2012, they completed a Technology Enterprenuership Course by Prof. Chuck Easely from Stanford University in Business Strategy. Additionally, in January 2022, they obtained a certification from LinkedIn titled "How to Set Goals When Everything Feels Like a Priority" and in April 2022 they obtained a certification titled "Tips for Writing Business Emails" also from LinkedIn.
