Julia Spencer, Ph.D.

Julia Spencer, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. Julia began their career in 1981 as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut. In 1996, they moved on to become a Sales Representative at Pearson. In 1998, they joined Scholastic as an Account Executive, Territory Manager, and Sales Representative, where they were one of the top sales people and won the National "Top Dog" award multiple times. In 2016, they became an Independent Sales Representative and Educational Consultant. In 2019, they joined Tabula Learning as the Senior Vice President and Senior Vice President Sales & Strategic Alliances. Finally, in 2020, they became the Business Development Director at CodeStringers, where they identified and explored options for favorable software development for various industries and customers.

Julia Spencer, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science in English and Education from the University of Virginia. Julia then went on to earn their Master's degree in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from the University of Connecticut. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration and Business Administration from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
