Hugh McMullin

Hugh McMullin has extensive experience in the field of fermentation, currently serving as Senior Director of Fermentation at Codexis, Inc. since 2011, having progressively advanced from Associate Director to Director and previously to Senior Fermentation Scientist. Prior to this role, Hugh worked at FibroGen, Inc. from 2001 to 2011 as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist. Hugh also gained experience as a Senior Scientist at INAMED Corporation (acquired by Allergan) in 2000-2001 and as a Fermentation Scientist at Cohesion Technologies from 1998 to 2000. Educationally, Hugh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
