Berton J. Maley (B.J.)

Berton J. "B.J." Maley has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Berton J. "B.J." began their career in 1993 at The Codilis Family of Firms, where they started as an associate and eventually became a Vice President and Managing Bankruptcy Attorney. In this role, they represented mortgage and auto lenders in consumer bankruptcies and related matters.

Currently, Maley holds the position of Vice President - Compliance and Diversity Officer at The Codilis Family of Firms. In this role, they oversee the firm's compliance and audit programs, as well as their vendor management program for client engagements.

In addition to their legal career, Maley has also been actively involved in Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. Berton J. "B.J." has served in various roles on the Board of Directors since 2012, including International Secretary, International Marshal, and International Executive Board Member At Large. Berton J. Following their undergraduate studies, Maley pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree at Loyola University Chicago School of Law from 1989 to 1992, specializing in Law.
