Efua Akumanyi

Efua Akumanyi serves as Co-CTO at Coding Black Females since April 2021, with a focus on building and supporting the community. Concurrently, Efua co-founded and acts as CTO and Lead Developer for Furnishful since November 2016. As the founder of DigiBright, established in May 2020, Efua provides training courses aimed at assisting entrepreneurs in developing effective technical solutions. Previous experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at Made Tech, and various contract .NET Developer positions at House of Fraser, St John Ambulance, RoosterMoney, EIP, World Learning Ltd, and Medidata Solutions, with a notable project designing an SQL server database for patent records. Efua holds a BSc in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex, obtained between 1998 and 2001.
