From 2011 to 2013, they were the Brand Manager at Manipal Global Education Services. From 2008 to 2011, they were the Brand Manager at Bharti Airtel. From 2005 to 2008, they were the Regional Marketing Manager at ICICI Bank. From 2004 to 2005, they were the Assistant Marketing Manager at Pizza Hut.

Sumit Singh received their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Delhi University between 1994 and 1998. Following this, they obtained a Master's degree in Marketing from the Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University between 2000 and 2002.
