Afterward, they worked as a Software Developer at companies like Overstock.com and 3point5.com, gaining experience in Java development and marketing support. Jimmy then joined Software Technology Group as a Software Consultant, working on various projects involving J2EE and PHP development.

In 2010, they joined Zappos.com as a Software Developer and API Advocate, before co-founding Wedgies, a tech startup offering polling technology to social media platforms. At Wedgies, Jimmy successfully raised $1.5 million in funding and operated as the Cofounder/CTO and Fullstack Developer.
