Sonia Elizabeth Soriano

Sonia Elizabeth Soriano has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Sonia Elizabeth began their career at Old Mutual Colombia as a Senior IT Analyst, where they worked on building and maintaining an Intranet portal and Learning Management System. Sonia Elizabeth then co-founded iT Synergy Co, a Colombian-based company focused on delivering mission-critical solutions on Microsoft platforms, where they served as the Co-Owner and Chief Operations Officer. At iT Synergy Co, they were responsible for managing the consulting services team and driving the company's growth in terms of human talent, sales, and revenue.

Soriano later joined Codit as a Operations Manager, where they were responsible for the operational efficiency of the local Codit business in Malta. Sonia Elizabeth successfully built and consolidated the local team, positioning the company as a Great Place to Work by the end of 2021. Additionally, they served as a Products Manager and Team Lead at Codit, overseeing the roadmap, backlog, planning, and delivery of software releases.

Sonia Elizabeth then worked at Mobile Jazz as a Senior Project Manager, and at VITAL4 as a Product Delivery Manager.

Currently, Soriano holds the position of Head of Delivery & Operations at Codit.

Sonia Elizabeth Soriano obtained a Certificate of participation from Vlerick Business School in 2021. Sonia Elizabeth completed their Systems Engineer degree at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 2000 to 2007, focusing on Software Architecture, computer programming, and software development. Prior to that, they attended Edisto High School from 1998 to 1999. Additionally, Sonia has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, and various MCTS certifications from Microsoft. Sonia Elizabeth is also a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, both obtained in 2018.
