Callum Bonthrone

Callum Bonthrone has extensive experience in operational management, primarily with PureGym from May 2007 to March 2025, where Callum served as Head of Central Operations Delivery (Group), overseeing the operating model and driving innovations across multiple markets including the UK, Switzerland, and Denmark. Previous roles include Regional Manager, where Callum managed 27 gym sites and implemented strategies to enhance financial performance, and Area Manager, responsible for operations in four London boroughs. Callum also has entrepreneurial experience as a Business Owner of a startup focused on health and wellbeing products and contributed to product design for Opti Gym Equipment. In addition to practical experience, Callum holds multiple Level 5 certifications in management and leadership, business management, and operations from CIMA and the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.
