Sinekhaya Xauka

Sinekhaya Xauka is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Legal Intern at Coega Development Corporation since February 2012, where responsibilities include addressing legal issues and reviewing and drafting contracts to mitigate legal risks. Previously, Sinekhaya worked as a Candidate Attorney at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Inc from January 2009 to January 2010, engaging in litigation and arbitration as well as finance, projects, and banking law. Initial experience was gained at Rhodes University as a Candidate Attorney at the Queenstown Rural Legal Centre in 2008, focusing on litigious matters and legal research. Sinekhaya holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Fort Hare, obtained between 2004 and 2007, and attended Nonceba Senior Secondary School for Matric from 1999 to 2003.
