Kris Venkiteswaran

Kris Venkiteswaran was named Vice President of Operational Excellence for Coeur Mining in October 2021. Mr. Venkiteswaran joined Coeur in 2016 as Director of Asset Management and in January 2020 transitioned into the role of Senior Director of Operational Excellence. In his current role, Mr. Venkiteswaran is responsible for driving continuous improvement processes and innovation across the company, focusing on Coeur’s culture of safety, quality, growth and operational excellence. Mr. Venkiteswaran is also responsible for the procurement and maintenance functions of the company.

Mr. Venkiteswaran has over 15 years of mining experience in general management, business development and strategic planning. Prior to joining Coeur, Mr. Venkiteswaran worked at Komatsu Equipment and Komatsu America Corporation in a variety of business leadership roles.

Mr. Venkiteswaran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida and an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
