Oscar Villalonga

Oscar Villalonga is the current CEO of the North American region for Coface. Prior to this, they were the President and CEO of COFACE North America Insurance Company for 3 years and 5 months. Oscar has also been a Managing Director for GE Capital and the Global Project Finance Leader for Current, powered by GE. In this role, they were responsible for establishing the financing offerings for GE's distributed energy startup, Current. Oscar has also held the position of Executive Director for GE Ventures, where they were a founding member of the startup business and led the launch of the project financing platform for Distributed Energy Resources projects for renewables technologies.

Oscar Villalonga has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Universidad de Puerto Rico and has completed educational programs at GE Software Development Center - San Ramon, CA and GE John F. Welch Leadership Development Center, Ossining NY.
