Phillip Gulley

Chief Strategy Officer (cso), Co-founder at Cofactr

Phillip Gulley has worked in a variety of roles in the entertainment industry since 2007. Phillip began their career as a Production Coordinator at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, where they worked with touring artists, OPERA Tampa, and the Patel Conservatory Youth Orchestra. Phillip then moved on to the Performance Space 122, where they served as Creative Producer and facilitated concept, casting, production, and communication for a performance and installation. In 2010, Gulley worked as a Video and Interactive Designer for the Deconstructive Theatre Project, as well as an Enrichment Teacher for Coney Island Prep. Phillip then joined The Field as a Membership and Sponsored Artist Program Associate, coordinating membership and providing support for sponsored artist activities and processes. In 2016, Gulley co-founded BeSide Digital, an R&D, design, and technology company. In 2019, they became the VP Creative Experience Design at MAS Event + Design, overseeing innovative UI/UX, product design, and technology for digital and physical experiences. Gulley currently serves as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Co-Founder of Cofactr.

Phillip Gulley attended the University of South Florida from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a BA in Theatre Studies. Phillip then attended Brooklyn College from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained an MFA in Performance and Interactive Media Arts. Phillip will be attending Y Combinator in 2022 for their W22 program.
