Hugo Azevedo

Hugo Azevedo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement. Currently serving as a Senior Buyer (IT) at COFCO International since June 2022, Hugo previously held the position of Global Sourcing Responsible at Vestas, overseeing sourcing for chemicals and paint/coating for blades from July 2020 to May 2022. Prior roles include Supply Chain Manager at Grupo Piedade S.A. and Graphicsleader Packaging SA, as well as Project Manager at Cerealis, where lean manufacturing methods were implemented. Hugo began a career in business analytics through an internship at Sonae in early 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and an ERASMUS experience in Business Administration at the University of Twente.
