Arlene Fernandez

Arlene Fernandez is a seasoned professional in strategic IT procurement and asset management, currently serving as a Senior Strategic IT Buyer at SKF Group since February 2023. Previously, Arlene held the position of Director of Corporate IT and Assets at Freshly, where responsibilities included overseeing business applications and software-as-a-service procurement. Arlene has also worked as an IT Asset Manager at both Freshly and Gilt Groupe, focusing on technology asset management and procurement strategy optimization. With a strong background in supplier management and contract negotiations gained during tenure as a Global Procurement Manager at Macmillan, Arlene has demonstrated expertise in developing sustainable sourcing processes. Arlene began a career in the IT field with roles including Desktop Support Specialist and IT Generalist, following a Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Technology from Fordham University.
