Ashraf Elgharbawi

Ashraf Elgharbawi has extensive work experience in project and program management, primarily in the telecommunications industry. Ashraf currently works at COFENSE as a Senior Program Manager, APAC, where they develop relationships with executives and manages budgets. Prior to this, they held the role of Program Manager, APAC at COFENSE, where they provided email security solutions to enterprise customers.

Before joining COFENSE, Ashraf worked as an Independent Consultant at Private Consulting, where they provided consulting services. Ashraf also served as a Project Management Consultant at MetaPM, where they delivered results in various domains such as Telco and IT by managing consulting engagements and providing guidance to clients.

Ashraf has also worked at Australian Catholic University as a Consultant, Senior IT Project Manager, leading the Digital Workplace Program. At Speedcast, they worked as a Consultant in Project Management, Marketing, and Customer Relationships, managing multiple projects in different locations and controlling budgets.

Prior to that, Ashraf worked as a Project Manager at TPG Telecom, implementing streamlined service provisioning processes to enhance efficiency. Ashraf began their career at Huawei Technologies as a Project Coordinator/Manager, leading projects in Telco, and later worked at Mobily as a Project Lead/Engineering Manager.

Ashraf also has experience in the field of engineering, having worked as a Senior Transmission/Project Engineer at Motorola Solutions and as a Field Service Engineer at Abbott.

Ashraf Elgharbawi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Misr University for Science and Technology, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. In 2020, they also received a Certificate in Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In addition to their formal education, Ashraf has obtained several certifications over the years. These include the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., the ITIL V4 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, the Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org, the PRINCE2® Agile Foundation certification from LinkedIn, the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute, and the PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
