VP, Oil & Gas Services, Mechanical Engineering at Coffman Engineers

Jeff is the vice president of oil and gas services, a mechanical engineering principal in the Anchorage office, and a board member. Jeff has been instrumental in establishing Coffman’s presence and office in Denver. As the vice president of oil and gas services, Jeff establishes and strengthens Coffman’s partnerships with oil and gas clients to develop lasting relationships. He also organizes the companywide oil and gas business development and staffing effort.

As an accomplished engineer, Jeff has many years of experience in mechanical process systems in the project management, design, construction, installation, commissioning, and inspection of pipelines, oil and gas process facilities, bulk product storage facilities, aircraft refueling facilities, and product loading and offloading systems for various clients. He oversees dedicating resources to projects and provides technical oversight of all industrial work as the mechanical engineering principal.

In addition, Jeff specializes in pipeline cleaning, inspection, and integrity management. This experience has led him to consult on pipeline integrity assessments throughout the lower 48 states, Alaska, and Hawaii. This experience also includes preparing pipelines for inspection and providing guidance to clients for cleaning and inspecting technically challenging pipelines in both offshore and onshore environments. Jeff prepares pipeline maintenance and inspection programs and has been involved in all aspects of pipeline data evaluation and repair.

Jeff is a registered professional engineer in the state of Alaska, an API 570 certified piping inspector, and a National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) internal corrosion technologist.
